Warranty Policy

WARRANTY PERIOD

LIMITED WARRANTY UP TO 1 YEAR FOR DIGITAL TRAINING CONTENT, COURSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND LEARNING PLATFORM ACCESS
1.1 Subject to the exclusions set forth below, CITA EV Academy warrants that its digital training materials, learning modules, certification programs, assessments, and Academy platform tools (collectively, “Academy Services”) will function substantially as described in the official documentation for a period of one (1) year from the date of activation of your Academy account or course enrollment (the “Warranty Period”).
This Warranty applies to:
(a) Access to Academy training modules, digital content, and learning tools.
(b) Functionality of online assessments, certificates, and downloadable materials.
(c) Platform stability and access to the CITA EV Academy portal, subject to normal system maintenance windows.
If, during the Warranty Period, your Academy Services fail to perform in line with published Academy specifications, CITA EV Academy will, upon written notice, either restore, replace, or reissue access to the affected content or tools at its discretion.

This Warranty applies to:

 • On-site training or travel costs
• Custom integration or third-party platform issues
• User-side hardware, browser, or connectivity problems

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.2 Subject to clause 1.3, CITA EV Academy will correct, restore, or replace defective Academy Services if:
(a) The user submits a written notice within fourteen (14) days of discovering the issue or the time they reasonably should have discovered it.
(b) The user provides all necessary account details, screenshots, error logs, or descriptions required by CITA EV Academy for investigation.
(c) CITA EV Academy is given a reasonable opportunity to examine the issue and verify the fault.
(d) CITA EV Academy reserves the right to replace training modules or tools with updated or equivalent versions if the original content is no longer available.
1.3 CITA EV Academy shall not be liable for service issues or failures if:
(a) The user continues using the defective Academy Services after notifying CITA EV Academy without following the support instructions.
(b) The issue arises due to user-side technical environments (for example, unsupported browsers, outdated software, poor connectivity).
(c) The issue results from modifications, misuse, or unauthorised copying of Academy materials.
(d) The user accesses the platform using non-compliant, incompatible, or uncertified devices or third-party tools.
(e) The issue arises due to external disruptions, power outages, cyberattacks, or other abnormal conditions beyond CITA EV Academy’s control.
1.4 The following are excluded from Warranty coverage:
(a) Training delays caused by third-party internet providers or local technical faults.
(b) Reproduction, distribution, printing, or misuse of digital course content.
(c) Support requests for user hardware, operating systems, or personal devices.
(d) Requests for customised training or bespoke content not included in the registered course.
1.5 This Warranty applies to any restored, reissued, or replaced Academy content or access.
Any replacement or restored item will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.
This Warranty may be updated without prior notice.

STEPS TO CLAIM YOUR WARRANTY

Activate your Academy account through the CITA EV Academy portal during enrollment. If you experience issues during the Warranty Period:
  1. Contact CITA EV Academy Support at support@citaevcharger.co.uk.
  2. Provide a detailed description of the issue encountered.
  3. Provide your Academy account email address and the affected course/module name.
  4. Provide proof of enrollment or purchase if requested.
  5. Provide screenshots or system information when applicable.
 
If CITA EV Academy determines that your issue is eligible for Warranty coverage, you will receive instructions or a case reference number.
CITA EV Academy will restore access, repair platform issues, or reissue training materials at no charge if covered by the Warranty.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO USERS

You are responsible for maintaining your login credentials, using supported browsers, and following Academy technical guidelines. Any support beyond Warranty coverage may incur service charges based on CITA EV Academy’s standard rates.
Issues found to be caused by user-side technical errors may not be eligible for Warranty coverage.

REPLACEMENT OR RESTORED TRAINING MATERIALS

You acknowledge that replacement digital materials or training access may include updated, revised, or restructured versions of original content if the previous version is discontinued. All replaced materials remain the property of CITA EV Academy.
If CITA EV Academy cannot restore or replace content, CITA EV Academy may issue a refund equivalent to the purchase price of the affected training module.

EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY

The Warranty does not apply to issues arising from:

Improper use of Academy Services, unsupported devices, expired accounts or failure to follow technical requirements.
Misuse, unauthorised duplication, or redistribution of Academy content. Training disruptions caused by third-party integrations, power failures, poor internet connections or software not provided by CITA EV Academy.
Tampering with digital content, altering learning modules or circumventing assessment systems.
Use of Academy materials in ways other than specified in CITA EV Academy documentation. Any removal or alteration of digital identifiers, user IDs or platform metadata.

LIMITATIONS ON WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

CITA EV Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost productivity, lost data, loss of training records, interruption of learning activities or system downtime.
CITA EV Academy’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid for the Academy Service affected.
No representative or agent is authorised to alter this Warranty.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This Warranty is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.
It is the entire agreement between you and CITA EV Academy regarding training-related warranty coverage. Any modification is valid only if made in writing by an authorised representative of CITA EV Academy.
